| المستخلص: | أدت عوامل عدة إلى احتدام الصراع على كندا بين الأطراف المتنافسة منذ اكتشافها لأول مرة على يد المستكشفين الأوروبيين الأوائل، إذ تركز الصراع بين الفرنسيين والبريطانيين بصورة محمومة، وافرز هذا الصراع نتائج مهمة أثرت على تطور أوضاع البلاد لاحقا، لعل أهمها رجحان كفة البريطانيين في نهاية المطاف، وانحسار النفوذ الفرنسي إلى درجة كبيرة، باستثناء ترسخ النمط الفرنسي في مقاطعة كيبيك وإلى يومنا هذا. ثم شهدت كندا نزاعا عسكريا بين بريطانيا والولايات المتحدة الأميركية لاحقا، والتي كانت بالأصل حلقة أخرى من سلسلة الصراع البريطاني-الأميركي وقتذاك، إذ يمكن القول انه وبعد صراع عسكري مرير، انتصر البريطانيون مقابل الانسحاب الأميركي من الأراضي الكندية. من المفيد القول هنا أن الصراع المحتدم على أراضي كندا، كان قد أسهم في تبلور الرؤية بضرورة الاستقلال على يد ساستها، لاسيما بعد سلسلة طويلة من النزاعات العسكرية الدامية بين الفرقاء المتصارعين. Several factors led to the intensification of the conflict over Canada between rival parties since its first discovery, as the conflict was clearly focused between the French and the British, this conflict over Canada produced important results that affected the later development of the country, perhaps the most important of which was the preponderance of the British in the end, and the decline of French influence to a large degree, with the exception of the consolidation of the French style in the province of Quebec to this day. Canada witnessed a military conflict between Britain and the United States of America, which was another link in the British-American conflict. After a bitter military conflict, the British won in exchange for the American withdrawal from Canadian lands. The conflict on the territory of Canada contributed to the crystallization of the vision of the necessity of independence at the hands of its politicians, after a long series of raging military conflicts between the conflicting parties. |
