| 520 | |a أسهم تطور نظم المعلومات الجغرافية التي تعددت استخداماتها، وتنوعت تطبيقاتها في كثير من الدراسات المكانية كالتخطيط العمراني، واستخدامات الأرض، ودراسة الخدمات وغيرها. لعل أكثر تطبيقات نظم المعلومات الجغرافية شيوعا هي التطبيقات المرتبطة بتنمية المجتمع وتطوره. إذ استخدمت في دراسة الخدمات العامة بشكل كبير كالخدمات الصحية، فضلا عن الخدمات التعليمية من رياض أطفال والمدارس، والجامعات. استخدمت نظم المعلومات الجغرافية في هذا البحث في دراسة خدمات التعليم الجامعي في الجمهورية العربية السورية، وذلك من خلال بناء قاعدة بيانات تضم معطيات ومعلومات عن المواقع الجغرافية للجامعات السورية الحكومية، والخاصة. وإنتاج خرائط توضح توزع الطلاب على جامعات القطر، وتطور أعدادهم. |b The development of the geographic information system, which has many uses and many applications, has contributed in a lot of spatial studies, such as, urban planning land uses and the study of services and others. The most common applications of geographic information systems are those which are linked with the growing of society and its development. These applications have been largely used in the study of public services, such as health services in addition to educational services like kindergartens, schools and universities. The geographic information systems have been used in the research in the study of university education services in the Syrian Arab Republic and that was by building a data base, which includes clues and information about geographic location for government and private Syrian universities, and producing maps which clarify the students distribution in the country universities and an update of their numbers. | ||
