| المستخلص: | The current study is a pragma-stylistic one. It studies Animal Farm pragma-stylistically referring to the speech acts used in, the flouting of cooperative principle and figures of speech at the two levels of interaction (character-character interaction) and (narrator-reader interaction). The study aims at showing the dominant category of speech acts used, the most flouted maxim and the main figures of speech used in. And for achieving these aims the study hypothesizes that assertives are the most dominant category of speech act, then the maxim of manner is flouted mostly and foreshadowing figure of speech is used mostly. |
