| المستخلص: | يمثل الحفاظ على الجودة تحديا كبيرا لمشروعات الرقمنة وبخاصة مع الإمكانيات المحدودة للأجهزة المتاحة فضلا عن الأخطاء البشرية التي يصعب تفاديها (Lin, Xiaofan, 2006) وعلى الرغم من أهمية عملية ضبط الجودة في نجاح مشروعات الرقمنة إلا أن محاولة وضع معايير تحكم تلك العملية هو أمر صعب ليس فقط لأنه لا يوجد معيار موحد معترف به من قبل الجميع، فهناك أيضا العمر القصير للتكنولوجيا المستخدمة بما يجعل أية توصيات تطرح الآن، تصبح قديمة في غضون سنة مع التطور المستمر في إمكانيات أجهزة الالتقاط والبرمجيات، ومع ذلك ينبغي العمل على إيجاد مجموعة من المعايير التي تسمح بالالتقاط الكامل للأصول وفقا لممارسات قابلة للقياس (Stuart, D. Lee, 1999)، يتناول هذا المقال تعريف ضبط الجودة الذي استقرت عليه المنظمات الدولية مع توضيح الأهداف المرجو تحقيقها من وراء تطبيقه وأهميته والطرق المستخدمة في ضبط الجودة أثناء عملية رقمنة المخطوطات وخطواتها، ثم يستعرض أهم معايير الجودة المتبعة في رقمنة المخطوطات وينتهي بتوضيح المتطلبات التقنية والبرمجيات اللازمة لإجراء ضبط الجودة أثناء عملية رقمنة المخطوطات. Maintaining quality is a major challenge for digitization projects, especially with the limited capabilities of the available devices as well as human errors that are difficult to avoid. Despite the importance of the quality control process for the success of digitalization projects, trying to set standards that govern that process is difficult not only because there is no unified standard recognized by everyone, there is also the short life of the technology used, which makes any with the continuous development of the capabilities of the capture hardware and software. Nevertheless, efforts should be made to create a set of criteria that allow full capture of assets according to measurable practices. This article deals with the definition of quality control that international organizations have settled on, with an explanation of the objectives to be achieved in terms of its application, its importance, the methods used in quality control during the process of digitizing manuscripts and their steps, then it reviews the most important quality standards followed in the digitization of manuscripts and ends by clarifying the technical requirements and software necessary to conduct quality control during the process.
