| المستخلص: | The management of tourism and hotel higher education institutions is the most one important human activities in societies, especially the management of tourism and hotels institutes, because education is a successful investment, it may require a serious effort in searching ways to develop performance to enhance the status of tourism and hotel educational institutions, to advance, and overcome the challenges faces. The researchers used the descriptive analytical method for the statistical and numerical data of the higher institutes of tourism and hotels and institutes of technical education for only two years- above average – in all governorates of Egypt, including the preparation of teaching and auxiliary bodies in higher institutes, numbers of teachers in technical education, numbers of enrolled students and the numbers of graduates therein, to find out the real current situation, understand and appreciate the current situation, to do effectively analyze and evaluate the educational process in these institutes, the material capabilities, their absorptive capacity, and the effectiveness of the educational service provided in them. Accordingly, the researchers reached to some results, the most important is that the tourism and hotel education institutions do not contribute sufficiently to make tourism development in Egypt, due to the shortcomings of the means used by these institutions in spreading tourism awareness within the community. Some important recommendations include the necessity of linking tourism and hotel education institutions with tourism development plans in the country, and linking educational institutions with production institutions, so that tourism and hotel education is attractive and desirable by everyone, and becomes the preferred choices for students. تعد إدارة مؤسسات التعليم العالي السياحي والفندقي من أهم الأنشطة الإنسانية في المجتمعات خاصة إدارة معاهد السياحة والفنادق، ولأن التعليم استثمار ناجح فقد يتطلب سعيا جادا في البحث عن سبل تطوير الأداء لتعزيز مكانة المؤسسات التعليمية السياحية والفندقية، للرقي بها، وللتغلب على التحديات التي تعترضها. ولهذا استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي التحليلي للبيانات الإحصائية والعددية للمعاهد العليا السياحية والفندقية ومعاهد التعليم الفني سنتين فقط- فوق المتوسطة- بجميع أنحاء محافظات جمهورية مصر العربية، بما تشمله من أعداد هيئات التدريس والهيئات المعاونة بالمعاهد العليا وإعداد المدرسين بالتعليم الفني، وأعداد الطلاب المقيدين وأعداد الخريجين بها، للوقوف على الوضع الراهن الحقيقي لفهم الموقف الحالي وتقديره، وذلك للقدرة على التحليل والتقييم الفعال للعملية التعليمية بهذه المعاهد والإمكانيات المادية وقدرتها الاستعابية ومدى فاعلية الخدمة التعليمية المقدمة بها. وعليه فقد توصل الباحثان إلى بعض النتائج. أهمها: أن مؤسسات التعليم السياحي والفندقي لا تسهم بالقدر الكافي في إحداث التنمية السياحية في مصر، وذلك نظرا لقصور الوسائل التي تتبعها هذه المؤسسات في نشر الوعي السياحي داخل المجتمع. وتم وضع بعض التوصيات المهمة منها: ضرورة ربط مؤسسات التعليم السياحي والفندقي بخطط التنمية السياحية بالدولة، وربط مؤسسات التعليم بمؤسسات الإنتاج، حتى يكون التعليم السياحي والفندقي جاذبا ومرغوبا من الجميع، وأن يصبح من ضمن الاختيارات المفضلة للطلاب. |
