| المستخلص: | هدف هذا البحث إلى تعرف دور البيئة الاجتماعية في عملية اختيار الطلبة لتخصصاتهم الجامعية، لدى عينة تكونت من (150) طالباً وطالبة من طلاب كلية الطب، وكلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية في جامعة دمشق. وقد تم اعتماد المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واستعملت الاستمارة بوصفها أداة لجمع البيانات، والتي تكونت من (29) سؤالاً موزعين على ثلاثة مجالات. وقد أشارت النتائج إلى العلاقة الإيجابية بين المتغير المستقل (البيئة الاجتماعية)، والمتغير التابع (اختيار التخصص الجامعي)؛ حيث تقوم مؤسسات التنشئة الاجتماعية - خصوصاً الأسرة والمدرسة - بتوجيه الطلبة نحو تخصصات بعينها. كما وجدت علاقة إيجابية بين نظرة محيط الطالب الاجتماعي لتخصص معين، واختيار الطالب لهذا التخصص لاحقا. The aim of this research is to define the role of the social environment of the students in the process of selecting their majors at higher education, in which (150) students of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences at Damascus University have taken as samples. The descriptive analytical approach was adopted and the questionnaire, which consisted of (29) questions and distributed into three sections, was used as a tool for data collection. The results indicated the positive relationship between the independent variable; the social environment, and the dependent variable; choosing a university major, whereas the institutions of social upbringing; especially the family and the school, direct students towards specific majors. In addition, a relationship was found between the attitude of the social circle regarding particular majors and the student’s choice of these majors. |
