| المستخلص: | شهدت البحرية الجزائرية تطورات عدة عبر ثلاثة قرون خلال الحقبة العثمانية، غير أن هذا التطور لم يكن بين عشية وضحاها، بل كان نتيجة تطورات سياسية، واقتصادية، واجتماعية شملت الجزائر وكل الدول المؤثرة في العلاقات الدولية، وعلى هذا الأساس يمكن القول أن البحرية الجزائرية وسمت بأبعاد مختلف في مراحله معينة، فقد وسمت في بدايات نشأتها ببعد ديني خاصة وأنها ولدت في ظل صراع ميزه الحمية الدينية، ولكن وبعد أن وضعت الحرب أوزارها بين الخلافة العثمانية والإمبراطورية الإسبانية، وسمت الحروب البحرية بين دول حوض المتوسط بطابع اقتصادي فأضحت الثروة التي غذتها تجارة الرقيق والأسر، والاستيلاء على السفن المحملة بالذهب والفضة ومختلف السلع حافزا كبيرا لاستفحال ظاهرة القرصنة التي طفا عليها مظاهر البحث على تحقيق المكاسب المادية، هذا ما ميز البحرية الجزائرية خلال هذه المرحلة. La marine algérienne a été témoin de plusieurs évolutions sur trois siècles au cours de la période ottomane, mais elle s'est déroulée dans la nuit, en raison de l'évolution politique, économique et sociale qui a affecté l'Algérie et tous les pays influents dans les relations internationales. À ses débuts, elle se caractérisait par une dimension religieuse, d'autant plus qu'elle était née dans un conflit caractérisé par un régime religieux, mais après la guerre entre le califat ottoman et l'empire espagnol, les guerres maritimes entre les pays méditerranéens étaient caractérisées par un caractère économique. Alimentés par la traite négrière et les familles et la saisie de navires chargés d'or, d'argent et de divers produits de base, ils ont fortement incité à intensifier le phénomène de la piraterie, qui a dominé les manifestations de la recherche de gains matériels qui ont caractérisé la marine algérienne à ce stade. The Algerian navy underwent several developments over three centuries during the Ottoman era. However, this development was not an overnight occurrence; rather, it resulted from political, economic, and social changes that encompassed Algeria and all countries influential in international relations. On this basis, it can be said that the Algerian navy was characterized by different dimensions in various stages. In its early days, it was marked by a religious dimension, particularly since its inception was amidst a conflict characterized by religious fervor. However, after the war between the Ottoman Caliphate and the Spanish Empire concluded, naval conflicts in the Mediterranean basin transitioned to an economic nature. The wealth derived from activities like the slave trade, captivity, and the seizure of ships loaded with gold, silver, and various commodities became a significant incentive, amplifying the phenomenon of piracy.
