| المستخلص: | " صاغ أبو تمام لنفسه نظرية في الشعر لها أدواتها وإجراءاتها ووظيفتها، فكون لشعره خصوصية فكرية أثارت حركة نقدية حوله، وحظي شعره بدراسات كثيرة قديمة وحديثة، فكانت هذه القصيدة التي قمنا بقراءتها قراءة بلاغية تحليلية؛ وفق ثنائية الحياة والموت، متبعة المنهج التحليلي السياقي؛ وذلك بتقصي دلالات الموضوعات المتنوعة في القصيدة. وقد ارتأينا قسمة القصيدة إلى ثلاثة مقاطع، ترتبط فيما بينها بتدفق شعوري يتنامى من مقطع لآخر وفق ثنائية الحياة والموت التي تنظم الوجود في رأي أبي تمام."
