| المستخلص: | اخترنا الانشغال بنقد محمد أركون للإسلاميات الكلاسيكية على اعتبار الحيز الهام الذي خصصه في مختلف أعماله لجهود المستشرقين الذين اهتموا بالتراث الإسلامي. ولئن أشاد أركون بالدور اللافت الذي نهض به أهل الاستشراق في إضاءة جوانب مهمة من هذا التراث، في وقت تعذر فيه على نظرائهم المسلمين بلوغ نتائج مماثلة، فإنه قد نبه الباحث الجزائري إلى بعض المطاعن التي شابت عمل المستشرقين وعلى رأسها زهدهم في الظواهر الشفاهية التي هي جوهر الثقافة الشعبية الإسلامية وإهمالهم الظواهر الكتابية غير الرسمية، فضلا عن طغيان المنزع الفيلولوجي وتحول بعض رؤوس الاستشراق إلى أبواق دعائية تسوق للثقافة الغربية. We chose to be preoccupied with Muhammad Arkoun's critique of classical Islamism, over the important space he devoted in his various works to the efforts of orientalists who cared about Islamic heritage, while Arkoun praised the remarkable role played by the people of Orientalism in illuminating important aspects of this heritage, at a time when their Muslim counterparts could not achieve similar results, the Algerian researcher warned about some of the challenges that marred the work of orientalists, most notably their asceticism in the oral phenomena that are the essence of Islamic popular culture and their neglect of informal written phenomena, as well as the overwhelming of the philological and the transformation of some heads of orientalism into propaganda trumpets marketed to western culture. |
