| المستخلص: | يهدف هذا البحث إلى بيان مفهوم اللقب والتعليل بالاسم وموقف العلماء منهما ومن ثم تحديد العلاقة بينهما في الدرس الأصولي من حيث الاتفاق والافتراق؛ وذلك من خلال محاور أساسية تتمثل في بيان حقيقتهما، وموقف العلماء من الاحتجاج بهما، وتحديد العلاقة بينهما. ولمعالجة ذلك تم الدمج بين المنهج الوصفي والتحليلي لأنهما كفيلان بتحقيق المقصود من هذه الدراسة، من حيث الرصد والإحكام والعرض والتحليل فالتقرير. وقد خلص البحث إلى جملة نتائج أهمها: التقارب الشديد بين المصطلحين من حيث التوظيف والإعمال في تقرير الأحكام الاضطراب في النقل والاختيار في خصوص المصطلحين. This research aims to explain the reality of the two terms (i.e., Maf'houm Al-Lqab and Reasoning By Name). Also to clarify Scholars opinion about them. And then defining the relationship between these two terms, in the field of Usul Al Fiqh, whether there is similarity or difference. Focusing on the following areas: Explanation the reality of the two terms, scholars opinion about using them producing Islamic law, clarify the relationship between them. To address this, the descriptive and analytical approach was combined because they are sufficient to achieve the intended purpose of this study.
