| المستخلص: | Varios historiadores occidentales califican la época de los almorávides en AlAndalus como un periodo de oscurantismo y barbarie con insignificantes aportes civilizadores y culturales, tachando a los gobernantes almorávides de intolerancia y rigorismo religioso. Nuestro objetivo es poner de relieve el papel de los almorávides en Al-Andalus mediante el análisis y la confrontación de las diferentes perspectivas historiográficas acerca de dicha polémica. Al mismo tiempo pretendemos hacer hincapié en la importancia de la objetividad en las investigaciones científicas. Various western historians describe the almoravid era in Al-Andalus as a period of obscurantism and barbarism with insignificant civilizing and cultural contributions, labeling almoravid rulers as intolerance and religious rigor. Our objective is to highlight the role of the almoravids in Al-Andalus through the analysis and confrontation of the different historiographical perspectives on this controversy. At the same time, we intend to emphasize the importance of objectivity in scientific research. |
