Le présent article vise à mettre la lumière sur les positions de ce romancier quant à l’usage du patrimoine dans l’écriture romanesque et la connaissance des enjeux esthétiques derrièrel’ouverture sur les registres culturels du patrimoine arabe pour ensuite les réinvestir dans une écriture romanesque à vocation moderniste authentifiant la narration arabe. |f The novelist Bensalem Himmich truly exemplifies a successful model of novelistic modernization, drawing from the historical narrative heritage by solidifying ties with it and harnessing its expansive spring, rich potential, and immense artistic energies. This study aims to illuminate Bensalem Himmich’s approach to incorporating heritage in novel writing. It seeks to identify the creative motivations behind his embrace of the cultural records of Arab heritage and use them in novel writing to make the Arab narrative modern and original simultaneously.
