| المستخلص: | يتناول هذا البحث دراسة تاريخ سقوط مملكة أوجاريت وأسباب ذلك السقوط، حيث أهتم أغلبية الدارسين بالإبداعات الحضارية للملكة، وخاصة في مجال اختراع الأبجدية، والدراسات اللغوية. ودائما ما تقرن دراسة أوجاريت بالممالك الكبرى التي خضعت لها عبر تاريخها مثل مصر ومملكة الحيثيين، ولم تقدم دراسة تفصيلية لتحديد زمن المملكة وأسباب اختفائها من مسرح الأحداث التاريخية، ويشار دائما إلى الفترة المظلمة من نهاية العصر البرونزي المتأخر. وقد قام البحث على دراسة مجموعة من المصادر التي عثر عليها أساسا في أوجاريت أو النصوص المتزامنة لتلك الأحداث سواء من مصر أو بلاد الحيثيين وقبرص ثم تحليل النصوص، وقد توصل البحث إلى أن نهاية هذه المملكة كانت متزامنة مع نهاية العصر البرونزي في منطقة الشرق الأدنى، وبينت أن حدوث الدمار كان على مرحلتين: اختلطت فيهما الأسباب الطبيعية بالأسباب البشرية، ولا يمكن فصل أحدهما عن الآخر. This paper presents a description and a discussion about the End and fall of Ugarit, which had been a populous and prosperous city, and one of the richest capitals of the ancient Near East until the second millennium BC. This Research is to identify and try to find a particular Date of the causes and fall of Ugarit and its destruction, where most scholars are interested in the kingdom's alphabet and its linguistic studies. The study of Ugarit is always associated with the major kingdoms that have undergone it throughout its history, such as Egypt and the Kingdom of the Hittites, and no detailed study and determination of the time and reasons for the kingdom's disappearance from the scene of historical events have been conducted. This research based on the light of the texts of Ugarit’s archive and the simultaneous texts of those events, whether from Egypt or the Hittites and Cyprus, the research concluded that the end of this kingdom coincided with the end of the Bronze Age in the Ancient Near East. The occurrence of the destruction was in two stages, in which the natural causes were mixed with the human causes, and one of them could not be separated from the other |
