En fait il sera question de répondre aux interrogations suivantes -La wilaya de Sétif est-elle une région à vocation agricole ou à vocation industrielle -En matière de ressources, la région dispose-t-elle de ressources naturelles importantes pouvant attirer des investissements industriels ou agricoles? -Au plan humain, la région constitue-t-elle un réservoir de main d'oeuvre? .Quelles sont les caractéristiques fondamentales de la population? In this article, we will try to highlight the various economic and social facts of the state of Setif and the role of these characteristics in the development of the region, in other words, we will try to answer the following questions: - Is the state of Setif agricultural or industrial? - Is the region rich in natural resources that can attract industrial or agricultural investments? - On the human level, is the region considered as a reservoir of labor?
