| 520 | |b In view of the importance of the tasks and competences of the Customs administration and indirect taxes, the Moroccan legislator and its pleasures have given it within the framework of the Customs Code with a set of legal means to improve the economy and address the customs crime that would harm the state's finances. The most important procedural rules that facilitate the fight against customs crime are the competition of the Customs Department and the Public Prosecutor's Office in the initiation of public prosecutions and erections as demands of civil rights. In addition to the evidentiary force of customs records that restrict the criminal judge in the assessment of evidence.
