| المستخلص: | هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع إقبال طلبة الجامعات اليمنية على الكتاب الجامعي، وقد اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي )دراسة الحالة(، وتمثل مجتمع الدراسة في الطلبة الزائرين لمعرض الحكمة الأول للكتاب الجامعي، حيث تم اختيار عينة الدراسة بالطريقة الميسرة بواقع (346) طالباً، كما تم جمع البيانات باستخدام استبانة صممت لذلك، وتم معالجة البيانات بواسطة الحزمة الإحصائية (SPSS) ، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أهمها: وجود ضعف في إقبال الطلبة على الكتاب الجامعي بشكل كبير، وأن أبرز أسباب عزوف الطلبة عن الكتاب هو المحتوى العلمي المتاح على مواقع الإنترنت والملخصات والملازم وغياب الكتاب الجامعي المعد على أساس التوصيف المنهجي للمقررات، وارتفاع قيمة الكتاب المطبوع ورقياً، وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة تعزيز مكانة الكتاب الجامعي وأهميته في المجالات الدراسية والبحث العلمي، ودوره في تنمية واكتساب المعارف والمهارات وتطويرها لدى الطلبة. This descriptive case study aimed to identify the reality of Yemeni university students' interest in university books. Simple random sampling has been used to select the sample of the study that includes 346 student out of those who visited Al-Hikma first book fair in December 2020. The data was analyzed by using the SPSS tool. The study has come up with several important results. It showed that there is a significant weakness in students' interest in university books. The main reasons for this might be attributed to the online availability of the study material and the availability of handouts and summaries. In addition to the absence of the university book that has been prepared on the basis of course specifications and the high prices of hard copies of books. The study recommended the necessity for fostering the status of the university book and its significant role in study, research work, and the improvement of students' knowledge and skills. It also recommended the necessity of strengthening the position of the university book and its importance in the fields of study and scientific research, and its role in developing and acquiring knowledge and skills and developing them among students. |
