| المستخلص: | يتطرق هذا البحث إلى دراسة شخصية بارزة في تاريخ شمال أفريقيا القديم، ألا وهو المفكر الأفريقي الجزائري المعروف باسم "لوكيوس أبوليوس"، والذي يعتبر من أشهر مفكري العالم القديم. كان أبوليوس كاتبا مرموقا في عصره بين أدباء الثقافة العالمية، فقد نافس اللاتينيين والإغريق، وخلف مؤلفات عديدة في مجالات مختلفة كالفلسفة والتاريخ والموسيقى والشعر والحساب وعلم الفلك وعلوم أخرى، ومن أشهر مؤلفات أبوليوس، كتابه الذي يحمل عنوان التحولات (الحمار الذهبي)، الذي تميز فيه بروعة الوصف وبراعة الأسلوب والفكاهة والتشويق والإثارة، مما جعل منه أول مؤلف مشهور في التاريخ القديم، تناول فيه أبوليوس موضوع المسوخ (تحول الإنسان إلى حيوان). أثرت رواية الحمار الذهبي في الرواية الغربية الحديثة بشكل كبير، وبدأ الاهتمام بها في الأدب الإنجليزي منذ مطلع القرن السابع عشر، واقتبس منها أدباء ومسرحيين كثيرين من الإنجليز والفرنسيين والإسبان والإيطاليين وغيرهم، مواضيع أعمالهم، كما تأثر بها أدباء من الوطن العربي. لكنهم لم ينسبوها إلى صاحبها، بل اعتبروها مجرد أسطورة يونانية أو رومانية. This present research focuses on the study of a prominent figure in the ancient history of North Africa, namely the African Algerian thinker known under the name of "Lucius Apulius”, considered one of the most famous and prominent thinkers of the ancient world. Apuleius was a distinguished writer of his time and amongst writers of the world culture, he competed with the Latinos and the Greeks and left many works in different fields such as philosophy, history, music, poetry, arithmetic, astronomy and other sciences. Among the most famous writings of Apuleius and one that distinguishes him was his book entitled Metamorphoses The Golden Donkey). It contains the splendour of description, ingenuity of style, humour, suspense, and excitement, which made it the first famous book in ancient history in which he dealt with the subject of mutants (the transformation of man into animal). The Golden Donkey greatly influenced modern Western novel, and its interest began in English literature from the early 17th century; many writers and dramatists from the English, French, Spanish, Italians and others borrowed from it, the subjects of their work, as well as the influence of writers from the Arab world. However, they did not attribute it to its owner, but rather considered it as Greek or Roman myth. |
