| 520 | |a يهدف البحث إلى تناول مدينة بغداد ويبين تسميتها من خلال تتبع اسمها في العصور التاريخية القديمة حتى تاريخ تأسيسها من قبل المنصور العباسي، وعني البحث بجغرافية هذه المدينة العريقة وأهم الطرق التي تربطها مع المدن الأخرى، فضلا عن بيئتها وسبب اختيار هذا المكان لأنشائها دون غيره من الأماكن في العراق، كما اهتم البحث بشكل كبير تخطيط مدينة بغداد والجهود التي بذلت في بناءها ومخطط بناءها المتميز وسبب وضع أبوابها بالشكل الذي عليه والطرق التي ترتبط بهذه الأبواب، وأخيرا ناقش البحث أهمية هذه المدينة ودورها الحضاري التي أصبحت في مدة من الزمن أم الدنيا، وكيف تطورت بها العلوم وأصبحت محط ارتياد العلماء والأدباء، وبزغ منها جحافل من العلماء والمفكرين والأدباء الذين كان لهم فضل على العالم بأسره بسبب علومهم التي نشروها وكتبهم التي تدرس حتى الأن في أعرق الجامعات والمؤسسات العالمية، ولابد أن نشير للمعالم الحضارية التي كانت ولا زال بعضها شامخ ليومنا هذا. | ||
