| 520 | |a كان للألوان دلالات مهمة في تشخيص الأمراض وعلاجها في العراق القديم، فكل لون يظهر على أحد أعضاء جسد المريض يشير إلى طبيعة مرضه، ويسهم في تشخيصه ما بين مرض مميت أو مستعصي يصعب علاجه أو مرض قابل للشفاء، ولذلك كان لاختلاف هذه الألوان فائدة كبيرة في معرفة أعراض المرض، ومن ثم تشخيصه بطريقة صحيحة وإعطاء العلاج المناسب له القائم على الوصفات الطبية التي تتخللها تركيبات دوائية ذات ألوان متنوعة، سواء ألوان بعض الأقمشة والخيوط المتضمنة في الوصفة، أو التي يلف فيها التركيبة الدوائية التي تشفي المرض سواء على يد الكاهن المعزم "الأشيبو" أو على يد الطبيب "الأسو". فمن المعروف أن هذا الكاهن (العراف، الساحر، أو طارد الأرواح الشريرة) "الأشيبو" كان يلاحظ ألوان الحيوانات التي يمر بها في طريقه إلى بيت المريض، ويعتمد عليها مع الألوان التي تظهر على جسده في تشخيص المرض وعلاجه، كما أنه كان يمارس طقوسه السحرية وهو مرتديًا ثيابًا ذات ألوان معينة لها تأثير في طرد الأرواح الشريرة المسببة للمرض من جسد المريض. ومن ثم كان للألوان دلالات مؤثرة في تشخيص وعلاج حالات الأمراض العضوية والنفسية في الطب العراقي القديم. | ||
