| المستخلص: | الحمد لله رب العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على سيد الأنبياء وخاتم المرسلين النبي العربي محمد بن عبد الله وعلى آله وأصحابه أجمعين، أما بعد، فقد توصلت في بحثي هذا إلى عدة نتائج منها أن ابن المستوفي كان من المعتدلين في الجرح والتعديل، وذلك أنه وافق أحكام النقاد في الحكم على الرواة، كذلك أن تاريخ ابن المستوفي، يعد تاريخ مهم في معرفة الرواة الذين دخلوا مدينة أربل وحدثوا فيها، كما أنه يعد مصدر تاريخياً، مهماً على هذه المدينة التي تقع بين الزابين قريبة إلى الموصل، كما أنه تاريخ حافل بالمحدثين والأدباء والشعراء وأهل اللغة، وذلك أن ابن المستوفي كان شاعراً أديباً ومؤرخاً وعالماً بالحديث.
