| المستخلص: | إن كتابة المذكرات الشخصية والسير الذاتية سلوك حضاري وظاهرة إيجابية تدل على إدراك أصحابها لضرورة تسجيل تجاربهم في الحياة والأهم من ذلك توثيق الأحداث الجسام التي كانوا طرفا فيها أو شهودا عليها أو اطلعوا على تفاصيلها عن طريق الرواة، وتعد مثل هذه الكتابات مصادر لا غنى عنها لكتابة التاريخ. إن مذكرات المجاهد بوبكر هتهات قد ساهمت في تدوين تاريخ الجزائر عامة وتاريخ منطقة الجلفة خاصة بحيث يمكن اعتبارها مرجعا هاما بالنسبة للباحثين والمهتمين بتاريخ منطقة الجلفة، وما جاورها بحكم معايشة صاحبها لأهم الأحداث التي عاشتها الجهة خلال سنوات الثورة، وإسهامه فيها ضمن ما يعرف بخلايا المنظمة المدنية لجبهة التحرير الوطني، مع بداية مشواره الثوري مناضلا أولا ثم جنديا في صفوف وحدات جيش التحرير الوطني، ومسؤولا بقسماتها بالناحية الثانية.
