| 520 | |a يعني البحث بالتخطيط لإنشاء وإتاحة جزيرة معلومات عربية متكاملة (جزيرة إدراك)، متخصصة في مجال المكتبات والمعلومات. وتناول: ماهية الحياة الثانية وتطبيقات المعلومات والمكتبات في الحياة الثانية. وانتهى بالتخطيط لإنشاء وإتاحة الجزيرة، التي شملت ثلاث مراحل هي: الإعداد والتخطيط، والتنفيذ وإنجاز المشروع، وإطلاق الخدمة، وسبقت بالحاجة للجزيرة والهدف منها. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: • لم يعد إنشاء المكتبات في الحياة الثانية دربا من الرفاهية، بل بات ضرورة على القائمين على المكتبة اتخاذها، وذلك بعد تقييم هذه التجربة من مختلف الجوانب وبعد مرور فترة زمنية كافية حتى يتم التأكد من جدوى الاستمرار فيها أو تطويرها. • أضحى إنشاء المكتبات في الحياة الثانية نقلة نوعية في الخدمات المقدمة في مجال المكتبات والمعلومات، ولا يمثل غاية في حد ذاته، بل هدفا لتحقيق غايات أساسية؛ كالوصول إلى المستفيدين الذين لا يستطيعون ارتياد مبنى المكتبة لأي سبب من الأسباب، وتوفير بيئة متميزة للتدريب والإبداع، وتقديم خدمات معلومات جديدة. | ||
