| المستخلص: | Le présent article aborde l’emprunt comme procède de variation stylistique dans le guide Routard d’Egypte. Le locuteur de ce guide varie son style selon la relation qu’il vise avec ses interlocuteurs (de différents âges) qui appartiennent a différentes classes sociales. Ce qui peut s'exprimer par la prise en considération des phénomènes et des tendances des jeunes envers 1'utilisation de formes anglophones et arabophones. En fait, nous avons montre que I 'emprunt est un procède discursif de variation stylistique employé volontairement par le locuteur. This article discusses borrowing as a method of stylistic variation in the Backpacking Egypt Travel Guide. The speaker of this guide varies his style according to the relationship he aims with his interlocutors (of different ages) who belong to different social classes. This can be expressed by taking into consideration the phenomena and tendencies of young people towards the use of English and Arabic forms.
