| المستخلص: | Exchange rate fluctuations generate high risk for the insurance companies in Egypt, such as bankruptcy and liquidity. This study aims to figure out the effect of the foreign exchange exposure (FXE) on the financial statement of the insurance companies in Egypt. The problem of the study is concerned with the fluctuations of the foreign exchange rate (FXR) in Egypt, which have a great effect on the financial performance of the insurance companies. The results of the study show that the FXE affects the profit, revenue and cash flow in the financial statement of the insurance companies in Egypt. The results are robust to the choice of model design. |
