| المستخلص: | إن مسألة حقوق الشعوب الأصلية حظيت باهتمام المنظمات الدولية العالمية والإقليمية لحقوق الإنسان، وفي مقدمتها منظمة الأمم المتحدة سواء من خلال أجهزتها العامة أو من خلال هيئات معاهدات حقوق الإنسان. ونتيجة لذلك الاهتمام فقد أنشأت منظمة الأمم المتحدة أجهزة خاصة لحماية حقوق الشعوب الأصلية كالفريق العامل المعني بقضايا الشعوب الأصلية التابع للمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، كما أن مجلس حقوق الإنسان أنشأ آليتين خاصتين بالشعوب الأصلية هما آلية الخبراء المعنية بحقوق الشعوب الأصلية، والمقرر الخاص المعني بالشعوب الأصلية (المقرر الخاص). أما على الصعيد الإقليمي، فإن حقوق الشعوب الأصلية تحظى باهتمام المنظمات الإقليمية لحقوق الإنسان وفقاً لمبادئ إعلان الأمم المتحدة بشأن حقوق الشعوب الأصلية، وقد سبق ذلك إصدار منظمة البلدان الأمريكية لحقوق الإنسان للإعلان الأمريكي المقترح بشأن حقوق السكان الأصليين، وإنشاء منظمة البلدان الإفريقية لحقوق الإنسان والشعوب فريقاً عاملاً معنياً بالسكان الأصليين. The issue of the rights of indigenous peoples has received the attention of international and regional human rights organizations, first and foremost the United Nations, both through its general organs and through the human rights treaty bodies. As a result of this concern, the United Nations has established special bodies for the protection of the rights of indigenous peoples, such as the Working Group on Indigenous Issues of the Economic and Social Council, and the Human Rights Council has established two indigenous mechanisms: the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the Special Rapporteur on Indigenous Peoples (decision The private).
