| المستخلص: | يعتمد التفكير البصري على ما تراه العين وما يتم ارساله من المعلومات المتتابعة إلى المخ أي أن العين هي التي تنظر فقط على حين الدماغ هو الذي يرى، وما يراه الدماغ يمكن أن يحدد كمية التراكيب المعرفية الموجودة أمامنا في العالم الخارجي أي في الحقيقة ندرك ما يقرره الدماغ انه موجود أمام أعيننا، فالفرد يلجا إلى تنظيم مدركاته على صورة أشكال وعلاقات تمكنه من فهم العالم من حوله، اذ يتعرف على تلك الاشياء بعد تنظيمها لتكوين فكرة ما وعند تجميع تلك الأفكار تحصل عملية التفكير. وبذلك فان الذكاء البصري المكاني هو الذكاء الأخر، الذكاء الذي ينبغي أن يوضع ازاء الذكاء اللغوي، فالفنان يخلق حالة بصرية لتصبح، بأثرها موضوع مادة لاستجابة المشاهد أو رد فعله وبهذا المعنى، فان الفنون البصرية قد تقوم مقام اللغة، (Apicture is worth a thousand words) وهذا المثل الإنجليزي يبين أن الصورة الواحدة تغني الشخص عن أضافة الكثير من الكلمات لايصال صورة ذهنية معينة.
