| 520 | |a إن خامة الصوف من أهم الخامات الطبيعية التي كانت من أوائل الخامات التي استخدمها الإنسان في كسائه، وتعد الفصيلة الحيوانية هي مصدر الشعيرات حيث يؤخذ الصوف من شعر الحيوانات مثل الماعز، الغنم، الإبل، ويتكون من شعيرات تنمو على جلودها تحمي جسم الحيوان من المؤثرات الخارجية، كما يعد الصوف من أهم الألياف الحيوانية حيث يقدر إنتاجه السنوي بحوالي 6% من مجموع الإنتاج العالمي من الألياف النسجية، وينفرد الصوف ببعض الصفات المهمة مثل قدرته العالية على الاحتفاظ بنسبة الرطوبة، وكذلك الاحتفاظ بدرجة حرارة الجسم حيث إنه عازل حراري ممتاز، وخامة الصوف من الخامات الطبيعية الحساسة للظروف المحيطة بها منذ بدء فترة النمو وحتى آخر مرحلة من مراحل تشغيلها، لذا نجد أن صناعة الصوف تحتاج إلى عناية شديدة أثناء مرحلة التشغيل وحسن اختيار الآلات والمواد المستخدمة معها، ولدقة الشعيرات أهمية كبيرة في تحديد طريقة صناعة الصوف وتحديد نمرة الغزل، كما يعد الطول من أهم العوامل التي تحدد نمرة الخيط ، ومن الخواص المميزة للصوف خاصية التلبد التي تحدث بسبب تشابك وتعاشق حراشف الشعيرات المختلفة بعضها البعض عند التأثير عليها بالضغط مع وجود الماء وارتفاع درجة الحرارة، وهذه الخاصية قد تكون غير مرغوبة في بعض الأحيان، حيث تحدث هذه الظاهرة في الصوف لوجود الحراشيف, وتساعد الرطوبة والضغط ووجود الثغرات الهوائية على التصاق الشعيرات وتشابكها, وبعد إزالة هذه المؤثرات تنكمش الشعيرات بشدة وتكون قطعة متماسكة متلاصقة، وبالبحث وجد أنه يمكن الاستفادة من هذه الخاصية في تزيين وإثراء القيمة الجمالية لشال السيدات لكونه مكملاً مهما لملابس السيدات، حيث إنه من المكملات المنفصلة التي يمكن إضافتها أو خلعها عن الملابس والتي تستخدم لأغراض عدة منها التدفئة والحماية والزينة والموضة، وتختلف أشكاله وأحجامه وخاماته وطريقة ارتدائه تبعاً لذلك وكذلك تبعاً للحقبة الزمنية المستخدم فيها. | ||
