| 520 | |b The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of financial development on economic growth in Algeria during the period (1991-2015). This study covers two main parts: a theoretical framework and literature review, and an empirical part. In empirical framework, after testing variables stationarity, a VAR model was used. The empirical results show that financial development has a positive insignificant Impact on the economic growth in short run, economic openness has a positive significant Impact on the economic growth in short run. While, no long run relationship occurs between the study’s variables. These results confirm that financial development is still in low levels, Algerian economy needs strong reforms in financial system to allow financial development accumulate capitals and spur investment and growth. | ||
| 520 | |d L’objectif de cette étude est de tester impact du développement financier sur la croissance économique en Algérie durant la période 1991-2015. Cette étude a couvert deux parties : une partie théorique et revue de littérature, et une partie empirique. En partie empirique, après avoir testé la stationnarité des variables, On a utilisé le modèle VAR. Les résultats prouvent que le développement financier (DCP) a un impact positif et significatif sur la croissance économique à court terme, et que l’ouverture économique (OP) a un effet positif sur la croissance économique (PGDP) à court terme. Cependant les résultats trouvent qu’il n y’à pas une relation à long terme entre les variables du modèle. Ces résultats confirment que le développement financier en Algérie reste dans des niveaux très bas, des réformes impératives et sérieuses du système financier sont requises. | ||
