| المستخلص: | أصبحت الظروف المتعلقة بتدريس الترجمة في قسم اللغة الفرنسية والترجمة (جامعة الملك سعود) أكثر تعقيدا، وقد بدأ مستوى الطلاب في التدني، وبدا جليا أن هناك حاجة ماسة إلى إجراء تقييم شامل للعملية التعليمية بغية التمكن من فهم أفضل لهذه الظروف التعليمية؛ حتى يتسنى تقديم بعض الاقتراحات للنهوض بها وتحسينها؛ وبما أن هذا البحث يرمي إلى دراسة مختلف جوانب العملية التعليمية للترجمة، فقد أعد الباحث استبانة وزعت على نحو أربعين طالبا من المستويات المتقدمة (٩ و١٠)، تهدف إلى تشخيص العملية التعليمية للترجمة؛ حتى يتسنى فهمها بدقة وتقييمها في جوانبها كافة. وقد تناول البحث العديد من الجوانب التأهيلية والتعليمية، كمشكلة اختيار الطلاب في البرنامج التدريسي، ودافعيتهم للدراسة، والشروط المطلوبة للترجمة، ومعايير اختيار النصوص، ومشكلة الاتجاه في الترجمة، وكيفية تناول النص المراد ترجمته، والمنهج النظري والتطبيقي المتبع، وآلية تقييم الترجمة، ونوع تمارين الترجمة المقدمة للطلاب، وهكذا. وقد تبين أن كثيرا من الطلاب لم يكتسبوا المهارات اللغوية والمعرفية المطلوبة لممارسة الترجمة عمليا، وأن هناك فروقا نظرية ومنهجية وتعليمية كبيرة بين أساتذة الترجمة في مختلف جوانب العملية التعليمية للترجمة. وقدم الباحث مقترحات بهدف النهوض بالعملية التعليمية وتجويد الأداء الترجمي، منها وضع نظام لاختيار الطلاب، والحاجة إلى التشاور المستمر بين أساتذة الترجمة في القسم حول عملية تدريس الترجمة، وتحديد إطار نظري وتعليمي دقيق، وتصميم خطة دراسية جديدة تتضمن مسارين (لغة وترجمة)، وإلغاء مقررات اللغة الإنجليزية أو تخفيضها لصالح تجويد اللغة الفرنسية، واستحداث دبلوم مهني/ ماجستير في الترجمة الفرنسية، وتعزيز نظام الإشراف الأكاديمي، وما إلى ذلك. The circumstances related to the teaching of translation in our Department of French and Translation have become challenging. The level of students has started dropping. It has been strongly felt that there is an urgent need for a better understanding of this situation in order to make some suggestions to improve it. Thus, a questionnaire was drawn up and answered by some forty students mainly of advanced levels (9th and 10th) in order to thoroughly understand and evaluate the teaching operation in all its aspects. Several issues were addressed, including the prerequisites for translation, the problem of selecting students for training and their motivation, the problem of directionality in translation, criteria for choosing texts, the employment of theoretical and didactic approaches, evaluation and scoring system, and the number of translation exercises offered in class. It has been found that most students have not sufficiently acquired the required skills in this area and that there are considerable theoretical, methodological and didactical differences between teachers in all aspects of the subject. Proposals were made with a view to improving the situation of translational practice, including the development of a system of student selection, the need for consultation within the teaching community, the establishment of a theoretical and didactic framework, the designing of a new curriculum, the development of two tracks, the abolition or reduction of English courses for the benefit of the concentrative learning of the French language, the placement of a professional Diploma/Master course in French translation, reinforcement of the supervisory system, etc. La situation de l'enseignement de la traduction dans notre Département de français et de traduction (Université Roi Saoud) devient problématique. Le niveau des étudiants baisse de plus en plus. La nécessité pour une évaluation approfondie de cet enseignement s’est fait sentir. D'où cette recherche dans le but de mieux connaître cette situation afin de pouvoir formuler des propositions susceptibles de la redresser. Pour ce faire, un questionnaire fut élaboré auquel répondirent une quarantaine d'étudiants principalement de niveaux avancés, (9ème et 10ème) dans le but de mieux connaître et évaluer l'opération enseignante dans tous ses aspects. Plusieurs questions furent abordées dont les préalables de la traduction, le problème de sélection des étudiants à la formation et leur motivation, la directionnalité en traduction, les critères du choix des textes, les approches théoriques et didactiques employées, le système d'évaluation et de notation, et un certain nombre d'exercices de traduction proposés en classe, etc. Il s'est avéré que la plupart des étudiants n'ont pas acquis suffisamment les compétences requises en la matière et qu'il existe des différences méthodologiques et didactiques considérables entre les enseignants sur tous les aspects abordés. Des propositions furent faites dans le but d'améliorer la situation de la pratique traductive dont la mise au point d'un système de sélection des étudiants, la détermination d'un cadre théorique et didactique précis, la détermination des critères du choix des textes, la conception d'une nouvelle maquette, la mise au point de deux parcours, la suppression ou la réduction des cours d'anglais au profit de l'apprentissage de la langue française, la mise sur place d'un diplôme/master professionnel en traduction, le renforcement du dispositif d'encadrement, etc. |
