| 520 | |a إن دور المثقفين عمومًا جدلي ومتناقض وهو أن يكشفوا ويوضحوا الصراع، وأن يقهروا الصمت المفروض بالقوة والهدوء المطيع للسلطة أينما كانت وكلما كان ذلك ممكنًا أن الثقافة والسياسة بالمعنى العام هما نفس الشيء وعلى اتصال كبير ويتبادلان الخدمات، إذ يمكن النظر إلى السياسة كثقافة والتعامل مع الثقافة كسياسة، فالأعمال السياسية هي أعمال فنية عظيمة وتؤدي وظيفة جمالية للشعب، والأعمال الثقافية هي أفعال سیاسية وتؤدي وظيفة تربوية ومهمة نضالية في تدبير الشأن العام وتنظيم العلاقات بين الأفراد. هذا يعكس العلاقة الجدلية بين المثقف والأحزاب السياسية ورأس الأمر أن مهمة المثقف الأصيل هو أن يكون الشاهد على العصر الذي يستخدم أسلوبًا سهلًا ولغة واضحة ويستند على معلومات دقيقة وأرقام صحيحة وقرائن ثابتة وذلك بعد تحرره من الأوهام وتبحره في العلم وتوجهه نحو إيقاظ الوعي الديمقراطي عند المواطنين بكافة طبقاتهم الاجتماعية وتوعيتهم بأهمية المشاركة في إدارة شؤون دولتهم والتدخل في الفضاء العام والتنديد بالهوة السحيقة التي تفصل بين الناس ويكون ذلك عن طريق الأحزاب السياسية وبذلك تكون مهمة المثقف هي التدخل الثقافي في الأوضاع الاجتماعية والسياسية. هكذا تكمن الوظيفة العمومية للمثقف في الإقامة في الحقل السياسي والاجتماعي، أولًا وبذل الجهد من أجل فهم ما تعذر فهمه والتجرؤ على الخروج للمحاولة، ثانيًا. كما أن الالتزام السياسي من قبل المثقف يجعله صادقًا مع نفسه مخلصًا لأفكاره ومنتميًا إلى عصره. ربما يكون أفضل درس يقدمه المثقف للإنسانية جمعاء هو التذكير بما تم تجاهله وتناسيه ومشاهدة صورة أوسع نطاقًا مما ترسمه السلطة والإشارة إلى طرائق عمل بديلة وفتح المغاليق وفتح الآفاق. | ||
