| المستخلص: | The poetic image is one of the most important modern critical terms, because of its artistic, aesthetic and expressive semantics and dimensions besides being associated with the taste, morality, and thinking equally. \nThis article deals with the image in terms of meaning, concept and features. It also discusses the metaphor and its patterns, the poetic image in the poetry of Zuhair, its composition and characteristics.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018 L’Image Poétique est l’un des termes critiques modernes ; elle regroupe plusieurs significations et démentions esthétiques, artistiques et expressives.
