| المستخلص: | In this article, we attempt to determine the affiliation of Patricia Highsmith's novel, This sweet sickness to a particular genre, wich is the "Roman du crime". Our objective is to see how the author was able to transcend a well-codified genre wich is that of the detective novel to make it evolve by introducing the element of psychology. So we first studied the genesis of the detective novel, and then focused on Freudian psychology. This led us to study the Oedipus complex in the novel This sweet sickness by Patricia Highsmith as well as the opposites Heimlich and Unheimlich. Dans cet article, nous tentons de déterminer l’appartenance du roman Ce mal étrange de Patricia Highsmith à un genre particulier qui est celui du «roman du crime». Notre objectif est de voir comment l’auteur a su transcender un genre bien codifié qui est celui du roman policier pour le faire évoluer en y introduisant l’élément de la psychologie. Nous avons donc dans un premier temps étudié la genèse du roman policier, pour ensuite nous attacher à la psychologie freudienne. Ceci nous a amené à étudier le complexe d'Œdipe dans le roman Ce mal étrange de Patricia Highsmith ainsi que les contraires Heimlich et Unheimlich. |
