| المستخلص: | يتناول هذا البحث بالدراسة والنشر مجموعة من التحف الخشبية المحفوظة بمتحف الآثار التعليمي بكلية الآداب-جامعة الإسكندرية تنشر لأول مرة من خلال منهج بحث علمي دقيق يقوم على الدراسة الوصفية المفصلة لكل تحفة من هذه التحف، إلى جانب القيام بمحاولة الترجيح للفترة الزمنية التي ربما ترجع إليها كل تحفة من هذه التحف على وجه الدقة، من خلال مقارنتها بنماذج أخرى مشابهة لها موجودة إما في عمائر وآثار ثابتة أو محفوظة ضمن قاعات الحفظ بمتاحف الفن الإسلامي الأخرى، وترجع إلى هذه الفترة التي تم ترجيحها. وقد قام الباحث كذلك بعمل دراسة تحليلية مفصلة لكل تحفة من هذه التحف موضوع الدراسة والبحث من حيث القياسات، والتي قام الباحث برفعها بنفسه في داخل مكان الحفظ بمتحف كلية الآداب، إلى جانب محاولة ترجيح لنوع مادة الخشب المستخدم في صناعة وتنفيذ كل تحفة، طبقا للسمات والخصائص الفنية المتعارف عليها لكل نوع من أنواع الخشب المختلفة، بالإضافة إلى تحديد نوعية وطريقة وأسلوب الصناعة والزخرفة المستخدم في كل تحفة، والذي تعددت أنواعها ونماذجها ضمن التحفة الواحدة بشكل جلي وواضح ومميز في نماذج عدة من تحف الدراسة؛ مما يؤكد على دقة وبراعة النجار الفنان المسلم.
