| المستخلص: | The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a multimedia-based program in developing the sixth graders’ listening skills. In order to achieve the aim of the study, used the experimental approach and designed the study tools which included a multimedia-based program, a written test and an observation card. randomly selected two classes of sixth grade students in the second semester of the academic year 2016-2017. Study main findings: 1. There were statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group and those of their counterparts of the control group in the listening skills post-test in favor of the experimental group.2. There were statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group and those of their counterparts of the control group in the post application of the observation card in favor of the experimental group. Study main recommendations: 1. Providing schools with the necessary infrastructure of laboratories, showrooms, computers and modern projectors to accommodate and apply multimedia technology in our schools. 2. Encouraging supervisors and the school administration to train teachers on using multimedia programs and modern teaching strategies and encouraging teachers to employ those programs and strategies in class in a way that is appropriate and interesting for students.3 . Holding training courses for the teachers of different disciplines focusing on how to design and manage multimedia. هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على فاعلية برنامج قائم على الوسائط المتعددة في تنمية مهارات الاستماع لدى طلاب الصف السادس الأساسي، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج التجريبي، وقد صممت أدوات الدراسة، وبناء برنامج قائم على الوسائط المتعددة واختبار تحريري وبطاقة ملاحظة، وتم اختيار عينة الدراسة بطريقة عشوائية شعبتين من طلاب الصف السادس الأساسي في الفصل الثاني من العام الدراسي 2016 - 2017 م. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (α = 0.01) بين متوسط درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية ودرجات أقرانهم في المجموعة الضابطة في الاختبار البعدي لمهارات الاستماع لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، كذلك وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α = 0.01) بين متوسط درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية ومتوسط أقرانهم في المجموعة الضابطة في الاختبار البعدي لبطاقة الملاحظة لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. وقدمت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات منها: دعم المدارس بمستلزمات المختبرات الحاسوبية لتطبيق تكنولوجيا الوسائط المتعددة، والاهتمام بمهارات الاستماع التي يمكن تنميتها من خلال استخدام طرق وتقنيات حديثة في تدريس اللغة العربية والاعتناء بمهارة الاستماع باعتبارها جزءا من مقرر اللغة العربية لطلبة المراحل المختلفة، كونها من أهم مهارات اللغة العربية. |
