الوصف
المستخلص:The researcher was seeking to show the influence of place (Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah) in the poetic attempt led by the poets of this great city. He started talking about the poets of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries (A.H.) like Ibrahim Al-Askoubi, Anwar Ishqi and Omar Al-Daghistani. The researcher searched the influence of place in their poetry during the Ottoman Period. Then he turned to the Saudi Period where cultural and intellectual lives found a stable political atmosphere. He mentioned examples of some newspapers spread during that period like: "Al-Qibla”, Al-Islah Al- Hijazi", "Sawt Al-Hijaz" and "Al-Manhal". He pointed at the notable role which those newspapers had played in enlightening and spreading culture. When the researcher came to the Fourteenth Century (A.H), where the cultural movement flourished, he remarked the increase of libraries number. "Arif Hikmat Library" was the most famous example. Also, the researcher mentioned samples of some poems written by Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah's poets. One of them was Hasan Al-Sairafi's poem which had a reference to "Hawsh Al-Tajouri" showing the influence of "Place" on the poetic attempt. "Al-Aqeeq" valley appeared after that as a poetic symbol for 'place' in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah. As a matter of fact, we can't find any piece of poetry without a reference to "Al-Aqeeq". The name has been attached to Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah and become a symbol of place within the social memory. The researcher mentioned some poems which had references to "Al-Aqeeq" like those poems by Muhammad Al-Eid Khatrawi, Muhammad Hashem Rasheed, Abdul Muhsen Huleet and many others.
