| المستخلص: | The importance of pragmatics lies in learners' appropriate use of second language (SL) in communicative situations they encounter in their daily lives, integration of proper utterances to display their high communicative abilities, and interpretation of meaning according to a given context. This entire effort unfolds a dire need to teach the SL by focusing on relevant pragmatic axes of the targeted tongue. Researchers in this field already pointed to the positivistic impact of education aimed to raise learners' pragmatic awareness, and to foster their pragmatic uses per exposure in the SL as well. Therefore, this paper highlights the importance of prioritizing pragmatic competency in the SL educational programs. It unveiled instruction plays a helpful role in bolstering learners' pragmatic potential, primarily elevating their awareness of pragmatic aspects and their appropriate uses in the target language, It also discussed methods likely to be used within the classroom, which help instructors achieve pragmatic competency effectively and purposefully, and diversify learners' pragmatic capabilities assessment strategies in a bid to deliver the desired instruction goals thoroughly and complimentarily. This study spurs diverse educational institutions engaged in the teaching process of any SL in general, and Arabic as SL in particular, to integrate pragmatic competency in their teaching programs in place. تكمن أهمية التداولية في استخدام المتعلمين للغة الثانية استخداما مناسبا في المواقف التواصلية التي يواجهونها في حياتهم اليومية، واستخدامهم للعبارات المناسبة التي تعكس قد راتهم التواصلية العالية، وتفسير المعنى وفقا للسياق، وهو ما يعكس وجود حاجة ملحة لتعليم اللغة الثانية بالتركيز على تداولية اللغة وقد أشار الباحثون في هذا المجال إلى وجود تأثير إيجابي للتعليم الموجه في زيادة وعي المتعلمين في التداولية، وتطوير استخدامهم التداولي في اللغة الثانية؛ لذا فإن هذه الورقة تسلط الضوء على أهمية تدريس الكفاية التداولية في برامج تعليم اللغة الثانية وقد أبانت أن التدريس يؤدي دورا إيجابيا في تطوير قدرة المتعلمين التداولية على مستوى تعزيز وعيهم بالجوانب التداولية، واستخدامهم التداولي المناسب في اللغة الهدف، كما أوضحت الطرق التدريسية التي يمكن استخدامها داخل القاعة الدراسية، والتي تساعد المعلم على تدريس الكفاية التداولية بشكل فعال ومفيد، وطرق تقييم قدرة المتعلمين التداولية؛ من أجل ضمان تحقيق الفائدة المرجوة من التدريس وقد خلصت هذه الدراسة إلى أهمية تدريس الكفاية التداولية، والفائدة الكبيرة التي سيجنيها متعلمو اللغة الثانية من ذلك، كما دعت المؤسسات التعليمية المعنية بتعليم اللغة الثانية بشكل عام، وتعليم اللغة العربية كلغة ثانية بشكل خاص، إلى ضرورة إدراج تدريس الكفاية التداولية ضمن برامجها التعليمية. |
