| المستخلص: | مما سبق يثبت أن الشخصيات في العمل الروائي متفاوتة ولكل منها ميزة بارزة، بحيث لا نستطيع تعميم هذه الميزات على كل الشخصيات مهما كان الحال، فللروائي حرية اختيار الطريقة التي يقدم بها شخصياته، إذ أن شخصيات العمل الروائي هي نتاج البناء التأليفي، فهناك شخصيات الأبطال والشخصيات الرئيسة التي تمثل محورا مهما في العمل الروائي وقد تقوم عليهما الحكاية بأكملها، ويكون ذلك بمساعدة نوع آخر من أنواع الشخصيات وهي الشخصيات الثانوية والتي بدورها لا تكون محورا رئيسا أو جزءا مهما في الحكاية، لكنها تقوم بدور تكاملي مع الشخصية الرئيسة في تقديم الفكرة بل إننا في بعض الأحيان نستكشف ملامح الشخصية الرئيسة/ البطل وأحولها، من خلال تتبع أحد الشخصيات الثانوية، وهناك شخصيات يعمد الكاتب/ الروائي إلى تهميش دورها في الأحداث ويأتي بها لتكملة النص تسمى بالشخصيات المهمشة، إلا أن هذا النوع من الشخصيات- وإن لم يكن له دور في الأحداث- تبرز أهميته ودوره في اشتراكه مع بقية عناصر العمل في إيصال الفكرة إلى المتلقي، وهوما بدا من خلال الوقوف على بناء الشخصيات وأنواعها وتوظيفها السردي في روايات ثلاثة من كتاب جيل الثمانينيات، حيث طوعوا شخصياتهم بأنواعها ومظاهرها الفنية إلى أفكارهم العامة وقضاياهم الخاصة في الروايات.
