| المستخلص: | Foreign exchange reserve plays a crucial role in building a balanced economy, based on good and stable performance of global economic indicators stemming from the actual needs of the local market, the definition of the relationship with the outside world as a necessary variable that requires flexibility to face potential international economics relations crisis and chocks. Defining an ideal level of reserves depends on a range of factors, therefore we notice that the demand on foreign currency exchange as a reserve differs from one country to another, in view of the different defining factors. So this study aim to find out the most important factors that determine the demand for foreign exchange reserves in Algeria by identifying the most important explanatory theories to him and build a standard model of the impact of various determinants on foreign exchange reserves in Algeria during the period from 1994 to 2016 and through the analysis of the statistical And the economist of the results concluded that the demand for foreign exchange reserves in Algeria depends primarily on the commercial motivation. |
