| 520 | |a تعاني مصر كغيرها من الدول النامية من فجوة بين الادخار الفعلي والاستثمار المخطط له، وحيث أن مصر مكبلة بالديون الخارجية والداخلية، وأصبح الأمل معقود على تمويل هذه الفجوة عن طريق التمويل الخارجي ولاسيما الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر، ليس فقط بهدف التمويل وإنما أيضا بهدف نقل التكنولوجيا الحديثة والمهارات الإدارية وتحفيز المشروعات المحلية على رفع كفاءتها لمواجهة المنافسة الداخلية والخارجية... إلخ، ومن ثم التسريع بعملية النمو والتنمية الاقتصادية، وحيث أن مصر من الدول التي فتحت الباب على مصرعيه للاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر منذ بداية التسعينات، وفي إطار اختلاف الباحثين حول جدوى الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر على النمو والتنمية، بات من الأهمية دراسة أثر الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر على النمو والتنمية وقد اقتصرت الدراسة على دراسة أثر الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر على النمو في القطاع الصناعي بدون البترول خلال الفترة من 2002/ 2003- 2017/2018، لأنه القطاع المعول عليه دفع عملية التنمية في خطط التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لمصر. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أنه لا توجد علاقة ذات دلالة معنوية بين الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر والنمو في القطاع الصناعي بدون البترول، وعلى العكس أكدت الدراسة على علاقة ذات دلالة معنوية بين العمالة والنمو في القطاع محل الدراسة. | ||

The study concluded that there is no significant relationship between foreign direct investment and growth in the industrial sector without oil.
